Temari Hawaii is pleased to join Friends of the Waikiki Aquarium (FOWA) in providing hands-on keiki art activities during its annual Members’ Night, which is free to FOWA members. Bring the family and enjoy a fun-filled evening at the Aquarium, where keiki can learn different Asian and Pacific art forms with Temari instructors, artists and volunteers.
Keiki will have an opportunity to:
Do gyotaku (fish printing) on a fabric square or a t-shirt they bring using sea creatures
Print a wana (sea urchin) or niho (shark’s teeth pattern using bamboo ʻohe kāpala stamps or dried hala brushes
Make waves on paper with suminagashi (Japanese marbling with inks)

Cost: Admission is free for Friends of the Waikīkī Aquarium members, and tickets are available at the link above. Admission is also open to the public at $8 per adult and $5 per child (12 and under).
